Water flowed onto the wheel from above, and its weight set the wheel in motion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A 300m Water Supply<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">About 1,000 feet (300 meters) upstream from the mill, water from the Wahlbach stream was diverted by a weir.
